With the modern AEC interface you can experiment and explore without affecting your data or that of other users. You can try all the features offered by the modern interface without any risk. So don’t hesitate to try the modern interface and see how it can improve your experience!
If I choose to use the modern interface, will other users still be able to use the classic interface at the same time?
Yes, of course! If you decide to work with the modern AEC interface, the other users can continue to use the classic interface without any problem. The transition to the modern interface will not affect the other users, as both interfaces are compatible and coexist in the system. AEC cares about the experience of all its users and offers the flexibility to adapt to the individual needs of each user. So feel free to use the modern interface if you think it can help you work better, and let other users continue to use the classic interface if they wish!
Will we still be supported if we switch to the modern interface?
Of course! If you decide to switch to the modern AEC interface, you will still have the same level of support as with the classic interface. If you have any questions or problems while using the modern interface, you can contact the AEC support team and we will be happy to help you. In addition, the modern interface has been designed to improve the user experience and make navigation through the software more intuitive and easier, which should reduce the need for support in general. How long will we have support for the classic interface?
We will continue to support the classic interface for a limited time after the introduction of the modern interface. As of May 1, 2024 the classic interface will no longer be available and therefore we will no longer provide support for this interface. It is recommended that users begin to familiarize themselves with the modern interface and consider the transition as AEC prepares for a full transition to the modern interface.
Will AEC training continue to be offered with the classic interface?
Yes, we may continue to offer training with the classic interface for a limited time after the introduction of the modern interface. However, it is important to note that the classic interface will only be available until April 30, 2024. The modern interface has been designed to improve the user experience and make navigating the software more intuitive and easier, so it is much more advisable to focus on training users on the new AEC interface.
How long will I be able to continue using the classic version?
The classic version of AEC will continue to be available until April 30, 2024. Therefore, if you are a user of the classic interface, it is recommended that you start familiarizing yourself with the modern interface and consider the transition to the new interface. The modern interface has been designed to improve the user experience and make navigating the software more intuitive and easier, so you may find advantages in switching to the new interface. It is important to note that the improvements and new features of AEC will only be implemented and developed in the modern interface. Is it necessary for all users to switch to the modern interface at the same time?

If I use the modern interface for a few days and decide to go back to the classic interface, will I lose my data?
No, if you decide to switch back to the classic interface after using the modern interface for a few days, you will not lose your data. User data is secure and accessible in both interfaces. The information you enter or edit while using the modern interface will be saved in the AEC database and will still be available for use when you switch back to the classic interface. It is important to note that some features or functions may not be available in the classic interface and the display of data in the classic interface may differ from the display in the modern interface.
Does the modern interface have new functionalities?

Why was a modern interface created?

Do I need to be trained to use the modern interface?

ATL Software offers optional training on the modern interface at an additional cost.
